Hi, my name's Damian!

I'm a chemistry teacher and during lockdown I wanted to design a notebook for myself that reflected my passion for science.

Then my friends asked for one. Then friends of friends. Then dozens of people I didn't know.

Great notebook

I adore these notebooks i have four of them i love the covers, i am left handed and having a notebook that opens flat makes such a difference, I look forward to purchasing more designs thank you atoms to astronauts.

Physics notebook

The notebook is hardcover- I usually buy soft cover and didn’t notice. As a result the notebook does not stay open and flat.
Paper quality decent- probably won’t buy again…

Hi Paul, I'm sorry this didn't meet your expectations. All the hardcover notebooks open fully flat and will stay open but, due to the way they are made, this will require a few opens the first few times you use it (they're compressed using a nipping press to ensure the glue that secures the covers to the board is secure and also to produce the french groove along the spine). If however this isn;t happening to yours and there's a fault, please get back in touch and we'll arrange to replace it. Damian

Hugely successful gift

Bought this as a gift for my daughter's 18th. She plans to study physics at uni. I had put a whole bunch of gifts in a gift bag but this one stopped her in her tracks and she ignored all the other gifts until she had studied every single bit of this delightfully designed notebook cover. She was thrilled. The cover, the binding and the paper are all top notch.

Great quality

As a quantum physics student, I wanted a notebook that I can use to store my personal maths and physics formulae with some formal derivations in the form of a guide book. This is exactly what I’m looking for. This is such a high quality notebook and the paper works so well with my gel pens. It glides over the pages and makes it easy to read.
The edges aren’t the usual pointed corners so won’t get badly damaged when in my bag.
Great customer service and loving the weekly science newsletters.
Will definitely be purchasing more.

We use Royal Mail and DPD for UK orders which in our experience are the most reliable couriers. However if your order hasn't arrived in time please get in touch via info@atomstoastronauts.com and we'll investigate.

If you ordered from outside the UK and it hasn't arrived on time, get in touch. The chances are it has been held up at customs and we'll investigate for you.

We've selected 100 gsm, off-white, UK-milled paper for our notebooks. It has been independently verified as fountain pen friendly (please refer to product images for a pen-test).
